Grilled Pineapple

I tried grilled pineapple in a Brazilian restaurant, and I fall in love with it. Luckily, I found this recipe online. Now, I can make this all the time. It is a great side dish with steak. The sweet pineapple balanced out the meaty steak. It was easy to make and delicious.

  1. For the pineapple, lay it on its side and remove ½-inch of the top and the bottom. Turn the pineapple upright on its base. Cut the skins off in long strips. With a pairing knife, remove all the eyes. Cut the pineapple in quarter lengthwise. Remove the core from each pineapple quarter.
  2. In a Ziploc bag, combine the pineapple quarters, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon together. Marinate for 15 minutes.
